Hotel Giglio is located in a privileged position in the heart of Florence, at Via Camillo Cavour No. 85, just a 10-minute walk from the Duomo.
The location is the ideal starting point for exploring Florence on foot, being close to some of the city’s major attractions: the Accademia Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery, the Ponte Vecchio, and much more.
With convenient connections to public transport and Santa Maria Novella train station, reaching the hotel is easy and convenient for anyone arriving in the city.
By plane
From Florence Peretola Airport (Amerigo Vespucci), you can reach Hotel Giglio in about 30 minutes. The fastest option is to take a taxi directly from the airport. Alternatively, you can use the T2 tram, which will take you to Santa Maria Novella Station in approximately 20 minutes. From the station, you can walk for about 15 minutes along Via Nazionale and Via Cavour, or take a bus that will drop you off close to the hotel.
By train
Upon arriving at Santa Maria Novella Station, Hotel Giglio is easily accessible on foot in about 15 minutes. Exit from the left side of the station and walk along Via Nazionale until you reach Piazza San Marco. From there, continue on Via Cavour, where you will find the hotel on your right. If you prefer public transport, you can take buses 1 or 17 from the station, which stop right on Via Cavour, just a short walk from the hotel.
By car
If you are traveling by car, take the A1 motorway exit for Firenze Nord or Firenze Sud and follow the signs for the city center. Once in the city center, head towards Piazza della Libertà and take Via Cavour. The hotel is located in a ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone), but our guests can access it for loading and unloading luggage. Once you arrive, we will provide directions to the convenient parking in Via Venezia, located a short distance from the hotel.
